hands of our Chairman Mr. Mohammad Rayess, who was
a chief Engineer in one of the biggest Tankers in
the world owned by Greek Company ,he was elected
as the President of Tartous Chamber of Commerce
for about 8 Years continuously ,and was the representative
of Syria in the I.C.C .

Rayess Shipping is one
of the major shipping firms that has been playing
a vital role in the shipping arena, since its conception.
The group was founded by Mr. Mohamad A. Rayess , a
well-known figure in the international maritime field,
He was The President of Tartous Chamber of Commerce
for 8 years and Syria representative in the ICC .
Rayess Shipping Company
(Mother Company) was Established in 1982 , The operational
scope expanded over the years to include the worldwide
transport of millions of tons of Phosphate , Petcoke
, minerals, fertilizers, grains ,wheat ,steel …..etc.
Today Rayess Shipping
has Three different branches, covering the main two
strategic Syrian ports: Tartous, Lattakia and the
Syrian Capital Damascus which is shared office between
Rayess Kingdom Group company's.

shipping exported products from Syria as Petcoke ,Phosphate….etc
,which enabled her to build strong relations with
the Syrian Gov.' Orgs as M\S Homs Refinery , GECOPHAM
, and the Petroleum Marketing Dept ,same thing did
put her in a very good relation with the importers
who do occupy good share of the Mediterranean\Black
sea goods' market as fertilizers factories (Ukraine
,Bulgaria ,Hungary , Romania , Turkey…etc) , adding
Cement ,Petcoke and metal industries in Egypt , Romania
,Bahrain , Italy , Greece , Cyprus , Turkey ….etc.
(Rayess Kingdom group is occupying more than 75% of
the exported Phosphate and Petcoke from Syrian Arab
Republic via sea).
